When business owners call me, I’m always inspired by their stories.

We talk about what they want for their business, when they’re ready to move on, and I’m always struck by the responsibility.

They’re worried about their customers, they’re worried about their suppliers, and they’re worried about their team.

So when they call, I know they're representing a lot of people.

I’m driven by the knowledge that I could help an owner and all the people that depend on them secure a succession plan that protects their legacy and the livelihoods of the people they're worried about.

That’s what I like about my work. I get to learn about owners, about their companies, and about their people and work together to see if employee ownership is the best path for them.

We’re a nonprofit. The mission is for every Alabama business owner to know, before they make the big decision - I want them to know that it’s possible to get the full value of their business and protect the people that rely on them.
